Does a recipient get new hair when needed?

To help us support as many recipients as possible, the foundation is able to gift one head of hair extensions or one wig per recipient. Our hope is that this gift helps ease some of the emotional and financial burden during an already challenging time. While we aren’t able to provide additional hair beyond this gift, we’re honored to offer this support and to be part of each recipient’s journe

What happens after a recipient receives their hair or wig?

Recipients typically work directly with their stylist to determine their wig or hair extensions needs or if a wig was given, connect with a local wig specialist. Our role is to provide the product as a gift, and we encourage recipients to share the foundation with their stylist or network in hopes that services may be donated. While we love when this happens, we’re unable to guarantee donated time or services.

How do I nominate myself or others?

You're in the right place! Simply fill in the requested fields. You will be emailed a confirmation upon completion and our board will begin reviewing your nomination and get back to you within 7 business days with a decision.

Yes! It takes a lot of courage to ask for help!

Why should I donate to the Laced Hair Foundation?

100% of all donations to the Laced Hair Foundation are used to offer hair to those suffering with hair loss. Laced Hair covers 100% of all administrative fees to run the Foundation, ensuring every penny of your donation goes directly to the cause.

Are my donations tax deductible?

Yes! The Laced Hair Foundation is a registered non-profit organization, making all donations tax deductible. Each donor receives a receipt upon completion of their donation and will receive a letter at the end of every year offering a summary of the donations made within the year to be used for accounting and tax purposes.
